Kinderarbeid is nog steeds van deze tijd. Het is een kwaal die onze wereld blijft treffen door aanhoudende armoede. Het leven van kinderen die naar school zijn geweest verloopt heel anders dan dat van werkende kinderen in de landen van het Zuiden.
Internationale Dag tegen kinderarbeid: dit kan je doen in de klas
Kinderarbeid belet kinderen om van hun jeugd te genieten en onderwijs te volgen. Dit gaat vaak ten koste van hun gezondheid en ontwikkeling. Kinderen uit de fabrieken of van de straat halen is niet voldoende. Je moet ze alternatieven bieden. Breng dit thema op 12 juni, Internationale Dag tegen kinderarbeid, extra onder de aandacht.
