Workshop: Voice liberation

During a Voice Liberation workshop we learn to use our voice more freely and powerfully. Our voices are made to be heard. Most of the time we use it without thinking. When we start singing things will be different. Often we shy away from our own sound, or we have all kinds of judgments about it. Voice liberation is not about how beautifully or correctly you can sing. Everyone has his or her unique voice with which you can tell your unique story. During this workshop we want to encourage each participant to use their voice freely.

We experiment with different sounds and sounds to discover what we feel good about. We sing from different emotions and discover what our song sounds like when we are sad, happy, shy, moved, scared, shocked, joyful, etc.

The teacher creates a safe environment where you sing from yourself and for yourself. By singing too freely, you get to know yourself better.
Whatever sound you make, whatever your made-up song sounds like, it's always good!

The content and exercises of the workshop are adapted to the age of the participants.

In this workshop we do not work with existing (pop) numbers. We also do not work towards a show moment or performance. If you are interested in that, check out our singing workshop.
