Stoppen met roken: lesmateriaal als hulpmiddel
Een rookvrije school creëert een omgeving waarbij niet-roken de norm is en dat maakt het voor leerlingen gemakkelijker om te kiezen om niet te roken of om te stoppen met roken. De voorbeeldfunctie van de school en het voorbeeldgedrag van de leraar vormen hierin de rode draad. Dit houdt tegelijk in dat een school een samenhangend rookbeleid voert.
Is jouw school rookvrij?
Een rookvrije school realiseer je niet alleen met een rookverbod. Er hoort een breed beleid rond tabakspreventie bij. Samen met het Vlaams Instituut voor Gezond Leven wordt er daarom gezorgd voor materiaal dat scholen moet helpen bij het werken rond een rookverbod.
