Wanneer ben je oud(er)? En vanaf wanneer mag je iemand een senior of zelfs bejaarde noemen? Het is belangrijk om daar voldoende aandacht aan te besteden, zeker met de vergrijzing in het achterhoofd. Want het is een feit dat die vergrijzing zich ook in ons land zal blijven voortzetten. Ouderen hebben dus een prominente plaats in onze steeds veranderende samenleving.
Noden van 65-plussers
65-plussers hebben andere noden, of soms net niet, want je bejaarde buurvrouw denkt en leeft anno 2019 anders dan in 1960. Aandacht hebben voor de verschillende doelgroepen in de maatschappij is belangrijk om elkaar te begrijpen en respectvol samen te leven.
Opleidingen bejaardenzorg of verzorging
Sommige opleidingen op school, bejaardenzorg of verzorging bijvoorbeeld, focussen op ouderen als lesonderwerp. Toch zijn er veel mogelijkheden om senioren aan bod te laten komen in je klas. Hoe doe jij dat?
Op zoek naar een geschikt moment om het over ouderen en senioren te hebben in de klas? Wel, op 1 oktober is er de Internationale Dag van de Ouderen. Een maand later is er de Ouderenweek, of Seniorenweek.
