Fall prevention: Exercise independent work
On the basis of a case, students independently practice perceiving risks with regard to safety and fall prevention in the geriatric care recipient.
Six rooms / places in a house have been drawn: on each drawing, students can detect at least two safety risks. They also explain why these pose a risk and what advice they have in the context of fall prevention.
As an introduction, questions have been added to evoke prior knowledge regarding safety and fall prevention. The final step consists of a review of the learning process and transfer to internship / professional practice.
