Operations with fractions: Help cards
These five help cards with accompanying video teach students which strategy they should use to solve exercises with fractions.
You will find explanations about the following types of exercises:
- Add and subtract equal fractions;
- add and subtract mixed numbers with (dis)identical fractions;
- subtract a fraction from wholes;
- multiply a fraction by a whole number;
- simplify fractions and convert improper fractions to mixed numbers.
