Make a fat ball for the birds yourself
Make fat balls for the birds yourself.
Necessities:
- solid frying fat in block form,
- birdseed,
- cupcake cases,
- muffin tin,
- cutters,
- oven plate,
- baking paper,
- straws or chopsticks,
- jute rope,
- cooking pot and fire,
- spoon.
Method:
Heat a fat block until it is completely melted. Add bird saw and stir everything with a spoon. Let the mixture solidify a little. Fill the cutters with the mixture and make a hole with a straw or stick through which the rope can then pass.
You provide the paper cupcake cups with a piece of string in advance. You make a hole in the paper, pull the string through it and make a knot at the bottom. Put the papers in a muffin tin and fill with the mixture.
Let everything solidify in a cool room overnight. The cupcakes are ready to use. You can carefully push out the cutters and provide them with a piece of string.
