Children of the Resistance: Documentary series

Exactly 75 years after the liberation, thirteen children of resistance fighters tell how the legacy of the Second World War has determined their own lives, sometimes until today.

They talk about their parents' acts of resistance and how they themselves were sometimes involved, about the loss and pain, about the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps and unresolved war traumas.

How decisive has the war been for these second generation war victims? And how do the witnesses view today's world? In a time of polarization and extremism, some express their fears for the future and insist on the importance of memory.
