Complex numbers: Preteaching
This learning tool is a pre-teaching on the theme of complex numbers. The students watch five educational videos about the history of imaginary numbers and complete the accompanying questions. They do this towards the first lesson on the theme of complex numbers.
The aim of the learning tool is that students find the set of complex numbers to be a logical extension of that of the real numbers, and that they already have some prior knowledge when the series of lessons starts.
