Spaghetti Bridges: Building and Testing
Building spaghetti bridges is a workshop where children have to
make a bridge that spans a certain width using only uncooked
spaghetti and a heat glue gun. The group that builds the bridge
that can support the most weight without breaking is the
winner.
During this workshop, the students first receive a concise
explanation about force distribution, the usefulness of arches in
bridges, etc. At the same time, the competition also includes a
game element that should not be despised.
Rest assured that the children will listen very carefully to our
supervisor's explanation before they start building their
bridge.
