Hearing impaired in primary school, what now?

When parents report that their child has a hearing loss, many teachers are left in the dark. Teachers then want to know how to deal with the disability in the classroom, at school or when going out.

In this thesis, Sandra provides teachers with tools to deal with students with a hearing impairment.

The following topics are discussed:

  • what is hearing loss/deafness;
  • guidance to help students and teacher;
  • do's and don'ts to get started right away;
  • list of additional information for children and adults.
