Kamishibai: Digital storytelling kiosk

The digital storytelling kiosk is a digital kamishibai theater with a touch screen on top of a bookcase.

Ninety-eight stories are shown on screen in twenty-one different languages. Some stories also have a processing activity associated with them. The stories are suitable for children between three and ten years old, but parents and teachers can also enjoy them. Via the touchscreen, children can quickly and easily choose a story in a language of their choice and have it played. They will then see both the reader and the pictures. In addition, the storytelling kiosk also contains a bookcase with ten wordless books.

With a digital kamishibai it is possible to raise language awareness for all children. The main goal is to come into contact with language diversity in a positive way.
