The Sun: Features


This contribution challenges students to collaborate in a group and compile a dossier about the sun. It is the intention to write out this file and search the information on the internet and in books.

The following questions serve as a guide to them:

  1. When did the sun originate?
  2. How did the sun originate?
  3. How far is the Earth from the sun?
  4. Why is this distance ideal?
  5. How long will the sun shine?
  6. What is the temperature on the surface of the sun?
  7. What is the temperature in the core of the sun?
  8. What are the different parts of the sun?
  9. Why is the sun necessary for life?

Other objectives pursued:

  • Count and count with minutes and hours;
  • Create and analyze a bar chart;
  • Comprehension reading and vocabulary.
