European Citizenship Common Education Program for Integrated Europe: Erasmus+ project

European Citizenship Common Education Program for Integrated Europe is an Erasmus+ project. The project delivered a handbook for teachers to integrate into their teaching curriculum, the project also designed a mobile app to aim to provide EU citizenship education through and engaging way, to adopt EU values, to raise awareness of European common culture and to have a European identity among young students. In order to achieve the EU’s goal of creating an integrated Europe, it is important that EU citizenship competencies, EU values and European common cultural awareness are given to young European individuals in a holistic approach.

On the project website you may also find PowerPoint presentations that connect to the handbook or teachers. They are designed by university professors and ready to use:

• The mobile app quiz/game can be used as a gamification methodology in classroom environments. We strongly recommend English teachers, geography teachers, social studies, to help students learn more about Europe and European citizenship. 
• Handbook/E-book: Many topics related to EU citizenship have been covered in the handbook, from learning about EU institutions to EU history, cultural integration, immigration, human rights, and even the common EU finance.
