Serious beats: Lesson idea
In this fourth lesson sheet you will find material for working on free collective improvisation within art education. The fourth lesson card fits in very well with Making a lot of weird noise : Lesson Idea . The file is divided into several parts:
- The lesson sheet is made up of an exercise on volume and tempo, after which we also work with a drum computer (drumbit.app). Then there is improvisation on the base of the drum machine that plays a technodrone. This is repeated within a tonal context. Crossover between different music genres and combining beats with instruments played live is also discussed.
